Here’s some images of a recent project using fused glass tiles created during some glass workshops in a local school. The project was at Dunnington C of E Primary School in Warwickshire and was part funded by the Stradfas Young Arts programme. Stradfas are the Stratford-upon-Avon Decorative and Fine Arts Society. All of the pupils within the school took part to create a fused glass tile each. The pupils were limited to using shapes with straight lines within their designs and went on to create some very exciting and imaginative tiles. The tiles have been use to create a stained glass window which has been fitted into the library of the school which is a former church. The window has a stained glass centre-piece featuring the school logo and everyone who has generously contributed towards it and there was a special dedication service carried out for the window just before Christmas.
